The 44 Ultra Mag. uses a standard 30-06 rifle case cut, and trimmed to a maximum case length of 1.8000 inches plus 0.000 minus 0.002 inches. The case is them reamed to a depth of 0.390 inches with a 0.416 inch reamer. Maximum O.A.C.L. equals 2.250 inches. Case holds 40.1322 Grains of Water. Loaded with a magnum pistol powder a .430 inch , 150 grain bullet can travel at speeds safely reaching speeds of 2900 FPS and down to using a .430 inch 240 grain bullet can travel at speeds safely at 2585 FPS
